Havana: The Cuban government, headed by the President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, began a government visit to Havana, the capital province of the country, on Thursday, December 10, according to Cubadebate.
The tour seeks to check strategic areas of the development of the territory as well as social institutions of prioritized sectors.
As reported by the journalist Angélica Paredes on her Twitter account, the president is already in the Miraflores community, in the Boyeros municipality, in which homes that will benefit more than 300 families are being built.
According to the Telegram channel of the presidency’s site, Díaz-Canel arrived at the Biopesticide Plant of the LABIOFAM company in Boyeros, an entity promoted in the 1960s for the development and production of medicines, due to the shortage of vaccines and medicines for livestock.
