The appointments include David Kamin and Bharat Ramamurti, as deputy directors of the entity, and Joelle Gamble, to be the special assistant to the ruler on economic policy.

According to the text, these people represent the incoming administration’s commitment to have a team of diverse experts ready to rebuild the North American economy.

On the other hand, the source explained that this Council coordinates the process of formulation of national and international economic policies for the Government and helps to design and implement the president’s vision on the sector.

In the opinion of Biden, who will take office on January 20, working families are fighting against the deepest and most unequal economic and employment crisis in modern history.

“This is not the time to rebuild things the way they were before, this is the time to build a new economy that works for everyone?, the Democrat said.

According to recent estimates by the governors of the Federal Reserve, the US Gross Domestic Product will contract 2.4 percent in 2020, and will grow 4.2 and 3.2 percent in 2021 and 2022, respectively.
