Havana: With the premise that the first law of the Republic is the cult of the Cubans to the full dignity of man, the country’s popular court system celebrates 47 years of its creation, according to Radio Rebelde.
In the central act to date, the National Secretariat of the Cuban Workers’ Federation (CTC) delivered the Flag of Labor Prowess to the workers of the Cuban justice bodies. The President of the People’s Supreme Court, Rubén Remigio Ferro, thanked his colleagues for this recognition.
Despite the situation caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, the judicial bodies of the Island did not stop their work, in which the treatment and solution of matters related to behaviors that violated health measures, as well as the confrontation to illicit gainful activities prevailed.
With the presence of representatives of the Organization of Collective Law Firms and the Union of Jurists of Cuba, in the act, the Young Communists League (UJC) recognized the Supreme People’s Court and the youth who work in that institution with the condition Young for the Lifetime. In a few words of thanks, the young Cecilia Meredith Jiménez pointed out the commitment of the youth to the Homeland.
The act, carried out in the People’s Supreme Court, also welcomed the delivery of the Enrique Hart Dávalos Distinction to workers with 20 or more years of experience in the Public Administration Sector.
In the activity, members of the Governing Council and executives of the highest judicial body handed out diplomas of recognition to those workers with 10, 20 and 30 years of age in the Cuban judicial bodies.
