Mayabeque, Cuba: Faced with the sustained increase in positive cases of Covid-19 in Batabanó, the Municipal Defense Council (CDM by its Spanish initials) adopts measures in order to stop the advance of the dangerous disease.
During the last meeting, the CDM proposed the implementation of actions aimed at achieving greater rigor in the control and confrontation of the pandemic.
The municipal mayor Raudel García Mederos, pointed out that they will increase epidemiological surveillance in the communities with active investigations carried out by work groups made up of the family doctor and nurse, as well as medical students, specialists from the culture department, the National Institute of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation (INDER) and the political and mass organizations.
They will also disinfect the areas compromised with the appearance of these new cases and entry to them will not be allowed until they are fully sanitized.
It also was known that they will continue to work on the Ordering Task to respond to all the concerns of the population, they will impose high fines for non-compliance with the prices capped for the sale of products both in the state and non-state markets and non-compliance of the measures established to contain the disease, such as the mandatory use of the mask face and the unnecessary trafficking of people between eight at night and five in the morning.
