Mayabeque, Cuba: The Agricultural Company April 19, together with the productive forms of Quivicán, are working to comply with the planting plans for this cold season. For the new stage, they plan to cultivate 2 365. 4 hectares, a plan higher than that of the last contest.

According to the company’s agricultural director, Eredio Godín, some actions were postponed due to breakages that occurred during the sowing period.

Due to the difficulties presented, the planting date of some crops was changed, which will not prevent the fulfillment of the plans drawn up by the group.

 “In the remainder of this month and February we will recover the arrears to end with more than 1,000 hectares above what was expected,” said Eredio Godín. (IVP)
