Mayabeque, Cuba: Multiple challenges promises the 2021 academic year that has just begun this February for the Fructuoso Rodríguez Pérez Agrarian University of Havana, the oldest of the Cuban agricultural universities.

The challenge is greater due to the complex and changing epidemiological situation that since the beginning of the year has kept the country in alarm at a new peak of Covid-19.

According to the first vice-rector of the Mayabeque house of higher studies, the Doctor of Science, Norlán Hidalgo Bárcenas, in the last days of January the 2019-2020 academic year concluded and enrollment began, a process that is progressing at the Headquarters and in the Centers Municipal Universities.

The UNAH is preparing for the moment when it is decided to open an Isolation Center due to the current situation in the face of Covid-19, with the participation of students and teachers in support of the task.

The purpose is to act with intelligence, discipline and responsibility in the new epidemiological scenario.
