Mayabeque, Cuba: Out of a total of 37 works submitted, the jury unanimously agreed to award the Ala Décima Contest prize to the work Argumentos del tiempo, by Dania Margarita Valle Turró, from the western province of Mayabeque.
The award was given by virtue of her remarkable balance in poetic discourse and her satisfactory register of language moved between standard and popular with a reflective tone of the lyrical subject, which gives him a sense of unity, that functions as a harmonious whole, and that can be considered a soliloquy of individual salvation of being.
On the 21st anniversary of the Ala Décima Group, the directors of that group and the Ibero-American Center of the Décima y el Verso Improvisado, announced the results of this contest.
They also declared the XXI National Meeting of the Tenth Wing postponed with its award ceremony, until the epidemiological conditions caused by Covid-19 allow it.
