Mayabeque, Cuba: More than five thousand sanitary uniforms made the workers of the El Bebito de Nueva Paz sewing workshop, in support of the Public Health sector, in the fight against Covid-19.
They make surgeons’ gowns, pajamas and masks, informed the director of the center, Emilia García Morales, who said that the group made up of more than 50 women has extended the working day to advance in the production of these essential items for doctors and other professionals in the sector.
The directive confirmed the importance of Nueva Paz women in terms of fulfilling high-interest tasks.
In the coming months, the work staff of El Bebito in Nueva Paz will have other important commitments, García Morales said: ?We are going to respond to a request to make long-sleeved work shirts, a production that we consider important because its final destination will be the agriculture sector which, as you know, is the production of food one of the basic tasks for the country at the moment?.
There is no victory without effort, with this feeling and committed to the current situation of confrontation with Covid-19, they accepted the challenge of complying with public health and agriculture.
