The word fear does not exist for Dr. Teresa Pérez Morales. Among her merits is that of being part of the Henry Reeve Medical Brigade and being on the front line of the battle against Covid-19.

The experience accumulated in two internationalist missions, one in Brazil and the other in Mexico, demonstrate to Dr. Teresa Pérez Morales the incomparable greatness of our army in white coats for the world.

“The patients preferred that we Cubans take care of them because we bathed them, we did blood glucose tests, we worried about their diet?, Dr. Teresa says.

But her memories are not always so pleasant: “I had a very unpleasant experience because in Cuba I never had to attend to a patient with two dead people next to her bed.”
