Mayabeque, Cuba: Technicians and specialists from the National Center for Bio-preparations (BIOCEN) received National Awards for Technological Innovation, granted through Resolution 1 of 2021, from the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment, Radio Reloj reports.
The resolution published in the Official Gazette recognizes two projects developed by BIOCEN that are included in the Cuban protocol for the prevention and fight against the SARS-CoV-2 Coronavirus.
One of the works of the scientific institution that received the award for Technological Innovation was: Use of Biomodulin T from a preventive setting to face Covid-19 in Cuba.
Design, development and generalization in Cuba of the first means of transport for viruses (btv) for the confirmatory diagnosis by rt-per of Covid-19 was also recognized.
