Mayabeque, Cuba: Mayabeque registers 26 positive samples for Covid-19, according to the official website of the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP).
Among those infected, there are 2 without a specified source of infection, all are autochthonous.
The municipality of Melena del Sur is today the one with the worst epidemiological situation with 14 new people infected with the virus, followed by Quivicán with 7 and Güines with 2. Meanwhile, Madruga, San José de las Lajas and San Nicolás report one positive case each one.
As reported by the national director of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Public Health (Minsap), Dr. Francisco Durán García, in his usual press conference, from the province of Mayabeque two people are admitted, in critical condition:
? 78-year-old Cuban citizen from Madruga, who presents among its Personal Pathological antecedents: Arterial Hypertension and Operated Hip Fracture. He is admitted at the Intermediate Care Unit, afebrile, with sepsis of the surgical wound, with polypnea and hypoxemia with the need to intubate and ventilate and is even supported with amines. He is on mechanical ventilation, without respiratory distress, hemodynamically unstable, supported with amines. Gasometry with moderate hypoxemia. He is reported as unstable critic.
? 81-year-old Cuban citizen from Melena del Sur Municipality that presents among her Personal Pathological antecedents: Arterial Hypertension. She is admitted at the intensive care unit, afebrile, sedated, on mechanical ventilation. Hemodynamically unstable, supported with amines. Poor diuresis Torax X ray. Radiological worsening without changes. Inflammatory lesions of the lower two thirds of both hemithorax. Reported of unstable criticism.
