Mayabeque, Cuba: In salute to the victory week that begins next April 12, the members of the Committee for the Defense of the Revolution in San Nicolas call on all citizens to participate, at the neighborhood level, in the community improvement project.
The objective is to contribute to the local development plan and guarantee greater health in communal spaces to prevent diseases.
The context is atypical due to the complex situation that the territory presents due to the recent increase in positive cases for Covid-19. However, all the necessary sanitary measures will be taken and citizen discipline will be ensured in order to collaborate effectively and without risk in community activity.
On the other hand, the call is aimed at all local sectors with the purpose of carrying out useful and necessary tasks in production and services, linked to agriculture, construction, industry, among others. According to the President of the Municipal Assembly, Vladimir Herrera, in the neighborhoods of the locality they carry out recovery and beautification plans, with the purpose of promoting the economic and ecological awareness of citizens, in addition to promoting participation, now a little more restricted, in the tasks of the neighborhood, as complementary actions to others that will be carried out in the municipality.
