Mayabeque, Cuba: Combatants from Playa Girón, from the municipality of Güines, received in their homes the homage of political and mass organizations to convey the respect of the people and the young generations for being examples of love for the Homeland in defense of the conquests of the Cuban Revolution.
Among the participants in that heroic deed, Exequiel González Díaz and Carlos Miguel Rodríguez Álvarez, despite the 60 years that had passed, recalled passages from that epic.

In the tribute for the 60th anniversary of the Victory of Playa Girón, authorities of the territory said that their ideas are valid and that the people are proud to have these men who are an example of patriotism before the intentions of Yankee imperialism with mercenary troops supported by their army.
