Mayabeque reports positive cases to Covid-19.

Mayabeque, Cuba: In the most recent part related to the behavior of the disease, Mayabeque registers 54 positive cases, distributed in 10 of its 11 municipalities.

According to the official website of the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP), all are autochthonous and six of them do not know their source of infection.

Regarding the distribution by municipalities, Bejucal is the one with the highest incidence with 15, followed by Santa Cruz del Norte with 10.

The municipality of Batabanó reported 7 positive cases yesterday, while Melena del Sur diagnosed 5 people with the disease, Madruga 3, Jaruco, Nueva Paz, San José de las Lajas and San Nicolás 2 each. In the case of Quivicán 6.

In his usual press conference, the national director of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Public Health (Minsap), Doctor Francisco Durán García, reported that from Mayabeque there are three patients in intensive care units.

A 74-year-old Cuban citizen, from Bejucal, with a Personal Pathological History of Arterial Hypertension, Diabetes Mellitus and Ischemic Heart Disease. He is afebrile, sedated, with scant tracheobronchial secretions, on mechanical ventilation. He is hemodynamically stable, with preserved urine output. Chest X-rays show no changes. Inflammatory lesions in both lung fields. Reported as a stable critic.

A 54-year-old Cuban citizen from the municipality of Güines, with a Personal Pathological History of Arterial Hypertension and Obesity. He is afebrile, with non-invasive ventilation. He is hemodynamically stable. Preserved diuresis. Chest X-rays reveal inflammatory lesions in both lung fields. Reported as a stable critic.

And a 79-year-old Cuban citizen, from the Santa Cruz del Norte municipality, with a Personal Pathological History of Arterial Hypertension and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. She remains in intensive care, afebrile, on spontaneous ventilation with supplemental oxygen. Hemodynamically stable. Preserved diuresis. Chest X-rays reveal inflammatory lesions in both lung bases. Reported in serious condition.
