More than 3000 hectares of sugar cane seeds will be benefited.

Mayabeque, Cuba: More than 3000 hectares of sugar cane seeds will be benefited this year in Jaruco with the use of biological media that protect pest and disease crops.

This is an initiative of the Bank of Registered Seed with the aim of stimulating the productions and preserving the environment.

According to information from Enrique Martínez, at the forefront of that entity, with this alternative that saves economic resources to the country to avoid damage to the fields, the quality of the seeds will increase to achieve an efficient sugar race in the territory.

He said that the Bank of Registered Seeds has as the main mission for 2021, to increase the use of other biological products widely used mainly in the fight against harmful insects that affect nutrient yields and the seeds ill.

Martinez added that plant health is decisive for the territory to increase the quality in the seed of sugarcane and a greater increase in that economic region in the country is achieved.
