Mayabeque, Cuba: Mayabeque wakes up with 52 positive cases of Covid-19, of them 4 without an identified source of infection, distributed in 9 of its 11 municipalities, according to the national part of the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP).
The municipality of San José de las Lajas with 19 is the one that reports the highest number today, followed by Melena del Sur with 10, Güines 7, Batabanó with 6, Madruga with 5, Quivicán reports 2, while Santa Cruz del Norte, San Nicolás and Nueva Paz one each.
According to the report offered by Doctor Francisco Durán García, from Mayabeque 7 patients are treated in intensive therapies, 4 in stable critical condition and 3 seriously ill.
The Cuban citizens reported as critical are from the municipalities of Güines (2), both men aged 60 and 77, from San Nicolás (1) a 54-year-old woman and San José (1), a 58-year-old man.
Those reported as serious are from the municipalities of Batabanó an adult of 55 years, from Melena del Sur an adult older than 76 years and a young man of 43.
Yesterday Mayabeque laments the death of an 80-year-old Cuban citizen from the municipality of Güines, with a 20-day hospital stay. This female patient suffered from Arterial Hypertension, Ischemic Heart Disease and Cerebral Vascular Accident. She presented severe dyspnea, arterial hypotension and extreme bradycardia, she made cardiac arrest in asystole, cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers were performed, which were not effective.
