For COVID-19, 39,101 samples were studied, resulting in 3,819 positive samples. The country accumulates 5 million 408 thousand 011 samples made and 218 thousand 396 positive.
Of the total cases (3 thousand 819): 3 thousand 695 were contacts of confirmed cases; 44 with a source of infection abroad; 80 without a specified source of infection. Of the 3 thousand 819 cases diagnosed, 1,967 were female and 1,852 men.
14.2% (543) of the 3 thousand 819 positive cases were asymptomatic, accumulating a total of 92 thousand 767 which represents 42.5% of those confirmed to date.
The 3,819 diagnosed cases belong to the age groups: under 20 years old (794), from 20 to 39 years old (1,084), 40 to 59 years old (1,268) and over 60 (673).

Of the 218,396 patients diagnosed with the disease, 21,091 remain hospitalized, of them 20,918 with stable clinical evolution. 1,431 deaths accumulate (26 on the day); two evacuees, 54 returned to their countries, on the day there were 3,584 discharges (513 more), 195,818 recovered patients accumulated (89.7%). 173 confirmed patients are cared for in intensive care, of which 72 are critical and 101 are seriously ill.
Until July 7, 190 countries and 30 territories with COVID-19 cases are reported, the confirmed cases amount to 185 million 668 thousand 707 (+ 475 thousand 357) with 11 million 751 thousand 412 active cases and 4 million 13 thousand 763 deaths (+ 8,757) for a fatality of 2.16 (=).
