Tour of the Marti peak of Mayabeque.

Mayabeque, Cuba: With the delivery of a wreath to José Martí and the tour of the Marti peak in Mayabeque, located in San José de las Lajas, the youth of the territory today began the program of activities in greeting to the National Rebellion Day.

According to the member of the Political-Ideological Bureau of the Young Communists League (UJC) in the capital of the province, José Luis Guerra Barrios, the celebration actions will last until July 26 and will conclude with cleaning and sanitation tasks in the areas of the Fructuoso Rodríguez Pérez Agrarian University of Habana, today converted into an isolation center for positive cases of COVID-19.

Young people from all sectors, mainly from science, health and sports, will carry out productive work in cooperatives in the territory on July 24 and 25 in order to boost the economy of the province and will plant protein plants of high nutritional value for livestock in the Popular Council of Tapaste.

The youth leader Guerra Barrios also explained that the activities will continue until next August with a tweet on social networks on the 12th to celebrate the World Youth anniversary and to ponder the work of the new generation in these times of confrontation with COVID-19.

The new pines on August 13 will also celebrate the 95th birthday of our Commander in Chief Fidel Castro with productive activities at El Guayabal Farm located in the Popular Council of Jamaica.
