Miguel Díaz-Canel urges a collective effort against Covid-19.

La Habana, Cuba: The president of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel, urged a collective effort to confront the high incidence of Covid-19 in the country, Prensa Latina publishes.

Through his Twitter account, the president recalled that ?there are health personnel working 24 hours a day, and full-time government structures in battle.?

?Only with everyone?s effort, we will win?, the Cuban head of state reiterated in a message accompanied by the hashtag # ACubaPonleCorazón.

Diaz-Canel previously pointed out that this week is decisive to reverse the complex epidemiological situation in the Caribbean nation.

According to the Ministry of Public Health, the average rate of daily infections is 9,125, and in the same period, but last month it was 6,464.

For this reason, the Cuban health authorities foresee an epidemiologically complex month of August, although the immunization process in the Caribbean country is continuing at a good pace.

Almost 11 million doses of the Soberana 02 vaccine candidate and the Abdala vaccine have been administered on the island through health intervention mechanisms, intervention study and clinical trials.
