Mayabeque, Cuba: Highlighting the role of women, their big capacity and initiatives in different spheres of society, is the main objective of the Cuban Women Federation (FMC), in Batabanó, in greeting to the 61st anniversary of the organization.
The delivery of recognitions to the comrades who stand out in the female structure, in the production of food, in the confrontation with the Covid-19, in the fulfillment of tasks in blocks and delegations, the voluntary monetary contribution to the Territorial Troops Militias (MTT), with emphasis on the FMC-ANAP brigades, is part of the program of activities carried out here.
The Secretary General of the Cuban Women Federation, Cosette Serrano Morel, stressed that this social group was the first step in the successes of Cuban women and their social achievements, so paying tribute to the founders is a privilege for current generations, which goes beyond sharing experiences and telling anecdotes.
Cuban women are present in all the achievements of the Revolution and the commitment for future times is to continue as faithful followers of Vilma Espín’s legacy.
