Havana, Cuba: The national director of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Public Health of Cuba, Dr. Francisco Durán, reported this Friday 82 deaths and 7,639 positive samples for Covid-19 during the last 24 hours, for a cumulative 627 thousand 311 diagnoses since the beginning of the disease in the nation, Radio Havana Cuba publishes.
The specialist reported that at midnight yesterday 105,128 patients were admitted, of them 53,747 suspects, 4,250 in epidemiological surveillance and 47,131 confirmed assets.
Durán explained that in the country 55 thousand 138 samples were carried out the day before for a cumulative of 7 million 743 thousand 806 samples analyzed.
The epidemiologist announced that, of the 7,639 patients, 7,598 have a source of infection in previously confirmed cases, 34 have a source of infection abroad and in 7 people the source of infection is unknown, 7 thousand 605 were autochthonous.
Of the total confirmed, 3 thousand 583 are male and 4 thousand 56 female. Regarding age groups, 1,699 children under 18 years of age were diagnosed, and 1,617 were diagnosed in pediatric ages (141 under one year of age). In the ages of 20 to 39 years, 2 thousand 37 cases were confirmed, between 40 and 59 years 2 thousand 325 cases and thousand 578 people older than 60 years.

Pinar del Río: 914, Artemisa: 404, Havana: 911, Mayabeque: 456, Matanzas: 244, Cienfuegos: 480, Villa Clara: 512, Sancti Spíritus: 645, Ciego de Ávila: 278, Camagüey: 545, Las Tunas: 334, Granma: 254, Holguín: 710, Santiago de Cuba: 530 and Guantánamo: 422 cases.
He specified that, of the 619 thousand 672 patients diagnosed with the disease from the beginning of it, 47 thousand 131 confirmed admitted, of which 46 thousand 670 with stable clinical evolution. 4,984 deaths are reported (82 in the last day) for a fatality of 0.79. The two evacuees remain, 55 returnees and 575 thousand 139 recovered patients accumulate (10 thousand 23 discharges of the day). 138 patients in critical condition and 323 patients in serious condition are reported.
