United States: The United States Congress approved with the favorable votes of the Lower House and the Senate an aid package for 900 billion dollars to face the economic crisis caused by the pandemic, Radio Rebelde reports.
With 91 votes in favor the Senate gave the go-ahead to the aid plan after the Lower House did the same with 359 in favor and 53 against.
The 900 billion of the stimulus package was included within the spending law to finance the federal administration until September 2021 for a total value of 2.3 billion dollars.
For its final entry into force, the ratification process by the outgoing president, Donald Trump, remains.
