Mayabeque, Cuba: At midnight yesterday, December 22, Mayabeque registered five positive samples for Covid-19, according to the official website of the Ministry of Public Health in Cuba.
The note published on the digital portal of the Minsap refers that the people diagnosed with the disease in the previous day belong to 3 to the municipality of Batabanó, 1 to Jaruco and the same number to San José de las Lajas.
Of the 3 patients in Batabanó, 2 are contacts of confirmed cases and 1 is imported as well as those from Barcelona and the provincial capital. No deaths are reported from the pandemic.
The population must act with discipline and self-care so as not to become infected with the virus. Maintaining strict compliance with hygienic-sanitary measures makes it possible to contain the spread of the disease.
