In the rest of the territories, the seven pounds of rice can be purchased from the beginning of the month, a product that is in the process of being distributed in the country.

The entity clarified that in Las Tunas, Holguín and Granma, peas will be delivered, instead of beans, and pointed out that sugar is in distribution and there are no difficulties for its completion within the month.

According to the note, the distribution of the coffee is ensured during the month, from the deliveries of the industry, in un-lithographed packaging, due to the delay in importing the usual packaging.

The regulated per capita and controlled sale of the egg product is ensured, similar to the month of March.

Likewise, the third distribution of food modules, which contain rice, pasta, sugar and sardines, continues in the provinces of Havana, Camagüey, Holguín and Santiago de Cuba.

This process, the MINCIN refers, concluded in the special municipality of Isla de la Juventud and gradually other territories will be incorporated, in correspondence with the arrivals.

Regarding cleaning products, taking into account the availability of raw materials from the Industry, toilet soap will be distributed by composition of nuclei for its controlled sale.

Laundry soap is insured for patients in the prostrate and incontinent program, while toothpaste will be distributed for the two-month period from April to May and liquid detergent, according to the criteria of the provincial governing councils.

According to the note, in the context of the international economic crisis, from which Cuba is not exempt, it remains a priority of the MINCIN to ensure the distribution of the products of the regulated family basket and other controlled sales.
