Mayabeque, Cuba: The Association of Combatants of the Cuban Revolution (ACRC) will reach its 30th anniversary on December 7 of this year. For this reason, it summons all those interested to participate in the 30 years of the ACRC contest, with historical, patriotic, military and internationalist themes.
The president of the Association of Combatants in Jaruco, José Tamayo, said that the works will be registered in the genres of testimony, biography (profile of combatants killed in the defense of the Homeland inside or outside the country, or who are currently living), interview to combatants whose story remains anonymous), poetry, photography and poster.
He pointed out that the works should not exceed 10 pages, in Arial 12 font and spaced at 1.5. In photography, the single photo, the photo report, a series of photos, a photographic sequence and a photographic essay will be accepted, all in 8X10 inch format; while the poster will require 70X50 centimeters.
According to the current circumstances, the texts will be delivered in print or in digital format. If this is not possible, handwritten letters will also be accepted, in block letters and, above all, legible.
The works will be received at the municipal headquarters of the Association of Combatants of the Cuban Revolution. The admission period expires on April 28.
The awards ceremony will take place in the month of June, to commemorate the 14th of the births of Antonio Maceo Grajales and Ernesto Guevara de la Serna.
For each gender, three prizes will be selected, in addition to giving them a certificate accrediting their participation, signed by the President of the National Directorate of the Association of Combatants of the Cuban Revolution. The organization’s archives will retain the works
