Mayabeque, Cuba: The province of Mayabeque reports new positive samples for Covid-19, at the end of yesterday with a figure of 29 infected people.
The infected citizens are contacts of confirmed cases distributed in 8 of the 11 municipalities and to date the demarcation accumulates 38,945, the official website of the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP) in Cuba reports.
Jaruco has the highest number of patients with a total of 11, San José de las Lajas confirms 6, Madruga 4, Güines, Nueva Paz and Quivicán have 2 each, and Batabanó and Melena del Sur 1.
The health authorities report that there were 2 deaths in the territory, one from Melena del Sur and the other from Nueva Paz. We regret what happened and convey our condolences to family and friends.
