Havana: At midnight yesterday, August 27, 1,061 patients were admitted to hospitals for clinical epidemiological surveillance, of them: 44 under surveillance, 467 suspected and 550 confirmed, the official website of the Cuban Ministry of Health publishes.
For COVID-19 5 thousand 002 samples were studied, resulting in 60 positive samples. The country accumulates 382 thousand 496 samples carried out and 3 thousand 866 positive (1.01%).
The 60 diagnosed cases are Cuban, of which 40 were contacts of confirmed cases, three without a specified source of infection and with a source of infection abroad, 17, 29 are male and 31 are female. 68.3% (41) were asymptomatic, accumulating 2,240 that represent 57.9% of those confirmed to date.

Artemisa (2 cases)
• Mariel and Alquízar with 1 case each.
Havana (39 cases)
• 13 of the Arroyo Naranjo municipality.
• 6 from La Lisa municipality.
• 5 from the Boyeros municipality.
• 4 from the municipality of Diez de Octubre.
• Habana del Este, Playa and Marianao with 2 cases each.
• Centro Habana, Cerro, Cotorro, Regla and San Miguel del Padrón, with 1 case each.
Villa Clara (2 cases)
• Santa Clara and Manicaragua with 1 case each.
Ciego de Ávila (1 case)
• 1 from the Ciego de Ávila municipality.
Camagüey (1 case)
• 1 of the Camagüey municipality.
Las Tunas (3 cases)
• 2 from the Las Tunas municipality.
• 1 from the municipality of Colombia.
Granma (3 cases)
• Niquero, Media Luna and Yara with 1 case each.
Holguín (1 case)
• 1 from the Sagua de Tánamo municipality.
Santiago de Cuba (4 cases)

Of the 3 thousand 866 patients diagnosed with the disease, 550, 527, 95.8% with stable clinical evolution remain confirmed. 92 deaths are reported (none in the day), two evacuated, 27 discharges of the day, 3 thousand 222 recovered patients accumulate. Five patients in critical condition and 18 in serious condition are reported.
