Cuba: Two hotel entities in eastern Cuba deserved important recognition from the Ministry of Science, Technology and the Environment, Radio Rebelde reports.
Sol Río de Luna and Mares and Brisas Guardalavaca hotels, operated by the chains Meliá and Cubanacán, respectively, obtained the National Award for Free of Ozone Layer Depleting Substances.
In this way, Holguín reaches this high environmental stimulus for the fourth consecutive year, on the occasion of September 16, International Day for the Protection of the Ozone Layer.
In this edition, the Award will also be received by nine other entities from the provinces of Villa Clara, Ciego de Ávila and Santiago de Cuba.
