From today until October 10, organizations, political parties, international networks and world personalities call for an anti-imperialist week that aims to denounce the problems of humanity, Cubasí reports.
The Manifesto for the Future, released on the occasion of the day, states that they will build a future that treasures life before profit, one of brotherhood between peoples.
Humanity is threatened by an invisible virus that is spreading and other viruses such as unemployment, hunger, racism, patriarchy, inequality and war have long challenged the world, the text adds.
The document denounces that these problems are present in different ways on the planet and strongly attack the lives of workers and peasants, and of those who experience the impact of social inequality, while a minority are the beneficiaries.
Those involved seek to build a future where brotherhood between peoples prevails, life rather than profit and racist wars, and social hierarchies are abolished.
The Manifesto is signed by organizations such as ALBA Movement, World March of Women, São Paulo Forum, Tunisian Workers ‘Party, Cuban Workers’ Center, Communist Party of Nepal, Democratic Movement of Women, among others.
