Argentine head of state advocated the need to relaunch Unasur.

Buenos Aires: Argentine President Alberto Fernández today called for recovering the Union of South American Nations (Unasur), as the most convenient for Latin America, Prensa Latina reports.

The Argentine head of state advocated the need to relaunch that regional organization, after almost being dismantled by governments of the right.

On the other hand, he referred to the electoral victory last Sunday of the Movement to Socialism (MAS), and announced that he would like to be present at the presidential inauguration of Luis Arce and accompany Evo Morales on his return to his country. He has been a political refugee for almost 11 months.

Fernández recalled that after the coup in Bolivia, Evo was persecuted by the de facto government of Jeanine Áñez, and they forced him into exile, as well as other political leaders of the MAS, such as former vice president Alvaro García Linera.
