Cuba: Representatives of Cuba and Turkey highlighted the strengthening of bilateral relations after signing an agreement for maritime cooperation in Ankara, Radio Reloj reports.
The agreement was signed at the headquarters of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Turkey by the vice-head of that portfolio and the Cuban ambassador to that nation, Luis Alberto Amorós.
Both parties highlighted the importance of this initiative, which is part of the actions to commemorate the 68th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two States, and will allow the expansion of joint development projects in the sector.
The signing of the agreement, with maritime cooperation projects of great interest to both nations, demonstrates the will of the two governments to increase economic and commercial ties, despite the complex context generated by the pandemic.
