Mayabeque, Cuba: Replacement of chimneys, completion of the submarine outfall, repair of aging warehouses and the launch of the Santa Cruz del Norte Rum on the national market, are achievements of the period for the workers of the only factory that produces moonshine in the country.
In the midst of economic restrictions and instability in hiring, the group used alternatives to fulfill the contracted plans, said the deputy director of the center, Lídice Fernández.
“At the end of the year, the commercial productions planned for the year and sales are fulfilled. Regardless of the decrease in bulk, other varied productions are used”, he added.
As part of the investment process of the next calendar in the Santa Cruz Rum Factory, the boiler of the energy block will be replaced. The action will have an impact on the efficiency and reduction of the emission of polluting gases into the atmosphere.
