Municipal Defense Council in San Nicolás evaluates the hygienic-sanitary situation of the territory.

Mayabeque, Cuba: The Municipal Defense Council in San Nicolás evaluates the hygienic-sanitary situation of the territory, due to the complex scenario that the town shows today.

According to the first secretary of the Party in the town, Amaury López Alfonso has so far reported nine positive cases to SARS-Cov-2 and seven outbreaks, one in the El Mamey settlement, another in El Recurso, one in the La Sabana neighborhood and four in Héctor Molina.

Given the current scenario, they adopt restrictive measures in the areas where people diagnosed with the new Coronavirus reside.

It is important to carry out investigations to detect infected persons suspected of having the disease and their contacts in the shortest possible time.

The municipality remains immersed in priority activities such as the sugar harvest and food production.

Similarly, the leader urged to work with discipline and responsibility, since it is up to each citizen to contribute to eliminating the transmission of the disease.
