Homenaje a Juan Almeida en aniversario de su natalicio.

Cuba: A wreath in the name of the Cuban people was deposited at the tomb of the Commander of the Revolution, Juan Almeida Bosque, on his 94th birthday this February 17, reports Radio Reloj.

The commemoration ceremony was held today at the Mausoleum to the Heroes and Martyrs of the Third Front, Dr. Mario Muñoz Monroy, and was chaired by the members of the Party’s Central Committee, Lázaro Expósito and Beatriz Johnson Urrutia, president and vice president of the Defense Council in Santiago de Cuba.

The activity, restricted by the sanitary measures, had a small representation of the authorities and leaders of political and of mass organizations inthe mountainous municipality of the Third Front.

Commander Juan Almeida Bosque, born in the west of the island, was a very beloved figure by the people of Santiago.
