ALBA-TCP will assess the regional political situation and its prospects for the first half of the year.

Havana, Cuba: The XXI Meeting of the Political Council of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-Peoples’ Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP) will meet next Monday, March 1, virtually, due to restrictions by Covid-19, Radio Reloj publishes.

The Cuban Vice-Minister of Foreign Relations, Rogelio Sierra, reported in his official Twitter profile that the meeting will be attended by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the member countries and other representatives.

The main objective of the meeting will be an evaluation of the regional political situation and its perspectives, in the face of the limitations imposed by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus pandemic.

ALBA-TCP was created by Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz and Commander Hugo Chávez, with the objective of integrating the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean.
