Venezuela: The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, congratulated the Barrio Adentro Mission for its 18th anniversary through a national videoconference, Radio Reloj reports.
During the intervention, he indicated to the health authorities of his Government to give the highest priority to the Comprehensive Diagnostic Centers, given the role they play in the fight against Covid-19.
He also recalled the humanistic vision of Commanders Chávez and Fidel, who were able to create an unprecedented health system and added that thanks to this the country has been able to successfully face the current pandemic.
The Barrio Adentro Mission, created in 2003, currently has a large number of specialists in areas such as intensive therapy, ultrasonography, ophthalmology, cardiology, traumatology, general surgery, among others.
