During his usual press conference, the specialist reported that at midnight yesterday 104 thousand 128 patients were admitted, of them 53 thousand 779 suspects, 4 thousand 270 in epidemiological surveillance and 46 thousand 079 confirmed assets.
Durán explained that the country analyzed 43 thousand 388 samples the day before for a cumulative of 6 million 778 thousand 087 samples analyzed.
The epidemiologist announced that, of the 8,886 patients, 414 were asymptomatic at the time of diagnosis, 8,849 have a source of infection in previously confirmed cases, 21 have a source of infection abroad and in 16 people the source is unknown contagion and 8,865 are autochthonous.
Of the total confirmed, 4,195 are male and 4,691 female. Regarding the age groups, 1,665 children under 19 years of age were diagnosed, and 1,563 were diagnosed in pediatric ages (114 under one year of age).
