Niquero, Cuba: The national act for the 65th anniversary of the landing of the Granma yacht expedition, led by Fidel Castro, took place on its stage in Playa Las Coloradas, in Niquero, Radio Reloj publishes.
In a symbolic way, eighty-two outstanding young people from all over Cuba reissued the historic feat and participated in the commemoration along with hundreds who staged a vigil at the Portada de la Libertad Monument at night and early in the morning, waiting December 2.
The occasion was propitious to pay tribute to Fidel, five years after his death, and to the heroes and martyrs of that epic that restarted the war of liberation in the Sierra Mestra.
Those attending the ceremony of remembrance in Playa Las Coloradas ratified that the empire will never have Cuba, and demanded from the United States Government the end of the criminal blockade, with which it intends to render the people due to hunger and disease.
