Mayabeque, Cuba: Workers from the Electrical Base Business Unit, in the municipality of Nueva Paz, work to raise the quality of services in the residential and state sectors.
In this sense, reducing the time of interruptions, minimizing breakdowns in the lines and avoiding overdrafts taking into account the demand are the most important services in this territory that has more than 9000 clients.
According to the director of the electrical UEB, Engineer Carlos Adrián González Morán, the electrical company carries out maintenance tasks such as divisions of the secondary circuit, neutral restorations, improvement in the land profile and all the proposals of the municipality.
As a projection we have to continue the maintenance work and comply with the efficiency indicators.
Regarding the work that they are carrying out today in isolated communities with the aim of improving the service, the director of the UEB explained in response to the call of the country’s top management, they intervene in communities such as La Lima, La Esperanza and the Manuel Isla batey .
In those places we work on the restoration of lighting, which today is insufficient, and actions to minimize electrical interruptions.
