Mayabeque, Cuba: The young Alejandro Padrón Travieso represents Mayabeque at the San Remo Music Awards Cuba Festival among the 16 contestants out of a total of 759 applicants, professionals and amateurs, from nine provinces.
Omar Felipe Mauri highlights on Facebook that Alejandro appears in the important contest with the song Píntame, which is authored by Jorgito Caramba, a theme to which he gives himself with talent and feeling so that it is a gift from the heart for the people, as the interpreter expresses.
Alejandro Padrón is a native of Bejucal and since he was fifteen years old he has performed at clubs for various audiences and at galas of the Municipal House of Culture.
The San Remo Music Awards Festival concludes next Sunday, April 10, an event that demonstrates its strength in socio-cultural exchange and friendship between the largest of the Antilles and Italy.
It also becomes a showcase for expressions such as fashion, cuisine and music from the European country, which combines local talent with artists from Spain, the United States, Mexico and Chile.
