Mayabeque, Cuba: The workers of the Mayabeque Poultry Company put into practice several strategies to increase production plans in 2023.
According to its director, Rider Hernández, they are now working with different production methods to increase semi-grazing hens in Güines, Melena del Sur, and San Nicolás and to make it an alternative for egg production.
Rider Hernández said that they have semi-rustic breeders, at the Camilo Cienfuegos Farm, in Santa Cruz del Norte, which should begin to hatch the eggs in the second fortnight, regarding the results they have shown so far, which will promote increased production from February to approximately in May or July to be able to sell the animals with 84 days to the productive forms.
