Mayabeque, Cuba: Expanding the offers, raising the quality and marketing of products and substituting imports occupies the task at the Salsa Soya establishment, located in the San Nicolás municipality of Mayabeque.
“We have the task of providing products such as fruit jam, tomato sauce, soy sauce and its derivatives, achieving a productive chain between agriculture and industry,” explained the head of material technical supply of that center, Grisel González Silva.
She added that they currently have 74 tons of fruit contracted for the purpose of rescuing old productions.
Despite all the strategies that the establishment adopts today to cover the territorial demand, marketing in the municipality itself is the Achilles’ heel.
“The commercialization is accelerated, due to the demand for our products, due to the quality they govern. The main limitations are that we are located in the same municipality and it would be a great satisfaction for us if the products we make reach the entire population”, she stated.
