Mayabeque, Cuba: The Flora and Fauna production area of ??Batabanó, a project that reaches its first year of creation, shows important advances in animal husbandry, in order to contribute to feeding the people.
According to the director of the Gulf of Batabanó Wildlife Refuge, María Teresa Aguiar Añuez, these productions are aimed at providing 5 kilograms of protein to citizens.
Tere, as he is affectionately known locally, a lover of species and plant conservation, today spends much of his time on animal husbandry.
“I really like working with them, really,” she said.
She and her colleagues do not stop in the face of difficulties, they also venture into agriculture, responding to self-sufficiency and as an alternative to guarantee the obtaining of feed for animal consumption in the future.
