Mayabeque, Cuba: The vaccination process against leptospirosis, tetanus toxoid and yellow fever for vulnerable groups of the population takes place in San Nicolás.
As reported by the deputy director of Hygiene and Epidemiology in the territory, Olga Lidia Scull Marrero, the anti-flu and anti-polio campaigns are still pending, due to Covid-19.
However, other vaccines against significant morbidities are currently being applied to a relevant group of the population.
The specialist explains that the immunization process is carried out on all those frequent travelers, this time against yellow fever to avoid the spread of diseases caused by the Aedes Aegypti Mosquito.
