Day of the Agricultural Worker.

Mayabeque, Cuba: The Union of Agricultural, Forestry and Tobacco Workers carries out multiple actions to commemorate the 62nd anniversary of the Agrarian Reform Law.

The Batabanó Agricultural Company and Quivicán April 19 stand out in that sense and are above their compliance plan.

Agricultural Worker Day is celebrated in Cuba on October 3. Approved by the Second Congress of the Agricultural Union, held in August 1977, because on that day and month of the year 1963 the Second and last Agrarian Reform Law was promulgated, which dealt a definitive blow to the landed bourgeoisie.
