Havana: At midnight yesterday, November 10th, 2 thousand 305 patients were admitted for clinical epidemiological surveillance, 814 suspects, 1,025 under surveillance and 466 confirmed, the official website of MINSAP publishes.
For COVID-19, 8 thousand 803 samples were studied, resulting in 37 positive samples.
The 37 diagnosed cases are Cuban, two of them imported, thirty-four were contacts of confirmed cases, two with a source of infection abroad and one without a specified source of infection, nine are women and 28 men. 78.3% (29) of the 37 positive cases were asymptomatic.
The cases belong to Pinar del Río 13, La Habana 3 (1 imported), Sancti Spiritus 3, Ciego de Avila 17 and Camagüey 1 (imported).
In hospitals 466 confirmed patients remains admitted, of which 462 (99.1%) have a stable clinical condition. No deaths were reported yesterday, 82 discharges of the day, 6,831 patients have recovered up to this moment and four patients are in intensive care units, two critical and two seriously ill.
Until November 10, 185 countries with cases of COVID-19 are reported, the confirmed cases amount to 50 million 994 thousand 258 (+ 579 thousand 971) and 1 million 264 thousand 77 deaths (+ 8 thousand 246) for a fatality of 2 , 47 (-0.02).
In the region of the Americas, 22 million 112 thousand 787 confirmed cases (+ 232 thousand 399) are reported, 43.36% of the total cases reported in the world, with 663 thousand 252 deaths (+ 2 thousand 825) for a fatality of 3.00% (-0.02).
