Havana: The president of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel, congratulated the intellectual Abel Prieto today on his 70th birthday, Prensa Latina publishes.
Through his Twitter account, the president shared his good wishes for the also president of Casa de las Américas.

Abel Prieto is a deputy of the National Assembly of People’s Power (Parliament), he was president of the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba and on two occasions Minister of Culture in the country.
At the head of Casa de las Américas, the intellectual defends the healing function of culture and the integration of Latin America and the Caribbean with the rest of the world.
