Cuba: At midnight yesterday, November 25, 3,627 patients were admitted for clinical epidemiological surveillance, 799 suspected, 2,385 under surveillance and 443 confirmed. For COVID-19, 10,596 samples were studied, resulting in 49 positive samples.
Of the total of cases, twenty were contacts of confirmed cases and 29 with a source of infection abroad.
Of the 49 diagnosed cases, 47 are Cuban and two are foreigners. 67.3% (33) of the 49 positive cases were asymptomatic.
The positive cases belong to Pinar del Río 5 (1 imported), Havana 15 (9 imported), Mayabeque (1 imported), Matanzas (1 imported), Cienfuegos (3 imported), Villa Clara (6 imported), Ciego de Ávila (1 imported), Holguín 3 cases, 2 imported), Granma (1 imported), Santiago de Cuba 11 cases (2 imported), Guantánamo (2 imported cases).
Of the 8,075 patients diagnosed with the disease, 443 (5.5%), 441 (99.5%) remain confirmed and have stable clinical evolution. 133 deaths are reported (none in the day), two evacuated, 27 discharges of the day, 7 thousand 497 recovered patients accumulate (93%) and two patients in intensive care, one critical and one serious.
Until November 24, 186 countries with cases of COVID-19 are reported, amounting to 59 million 879 thousand 753 confirmed cases (+ 572 thousand 189) and 1 million 410 thousand 82 deaths (+ 12 thousand 409) for a fatality of 2 , 35.
