Havana: The president of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel, held an enriching meeting today with a wide group of intellectuals from the Island, the Ministry of Culture reported today on its website.
According to the head of that portfolio, Alpidio Alonso, in the contact, which lasted for more than four hours, the president checked compliance with the agreements of the last Congress of the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (Uneac).
Díaz-Canel affirmed that the links between culture and Revolution are indissoluble, Alonso detailed on his Twitter profile.
