Havana: Cuba confirmed 124 new cases of Covid-19, and there are no deaths from the disease at midnight yesterday, December 6, according to reports from the website of the Ministry of Public Health (Minsap), Radio Habana Cuba publishes.
The figures are the result of 10 thousand 099 samples studied in the different Molecular Biology laboratories of the national territory.
The country accumulates one million 186 thousand 621 samples carried out and 8 thousand 906 positive (0.75%) for SARS-COV-2, since the pandemic began in Cuba on March 11.
Of the 124 positives, 118 are Cuban and six are foreigners. Sixty-nine were contacts of confirmed cases, 50 were infected abroad and five without a specified source of infection. Ninety-one were asymptomatic at the time of performing the CRP, accumulating 5,674, which represents 63.7% of those confirmed to date.
By provinces, Pinar del Rio (11, of them 4 imported), La Habana (33, of them 14 imported), Mayabeque (10, of them 3 imported), Matanzas (5, of them 2 imported), Cienfuegos (4) , Villa Clara (17, of which 6 imported), Sancti Spíritus (5 imported), Ciego de Ávila (6 imported), Camagüey (8, of which 4 imported), Las Tunas (2), Holguín (1 imported), Granma (5, of which 4 imported), Santiago de Cuba (16, of which 1 imported), and the Special Isla de la Juventud municipality (1). 771 patients remain hospitalized in the country, 761 with stable clinical evolution. Seven are in serious condition, and three critical. There were 34 medical discharges, with which there are 7,997 patients recovered (89.7%).
